Bruce Saxton founded the Saxton Group in 1989 with the vision of fostering integrity in the business world. His consulting practice has helped over 100 organizations break down systemic and relational barriers that limit the external success of the company as well as the personal joy and purpose of all employees.
Bruce helps organizations define and develop their vision or "executive intention," working with leadership to put structures and systems in place that will further that intention throughout the company. His extraordinary ability to draw out the genius of an organization and help the executives put that genius into practice, stems from a unique combination of professional expertise.
One of the primary influences driving his consulting work includes a rural Midwest upbringing and time spent as a missionary and later as an ordained Quaker minister who counseled individuals and couples, developed drug abuse programs, and worked in prisons. Growing up Brethren/Quaker, Bruce developed a strong business-focused work ethic and the belief that a measure of the divine is within everyone. This belief serves as a foundation for his gifted ability to recognize and develop the full potential of all his clients.
The equally, if not stronger, influence on Bruce's approach to coaching and consulting was his study of Dr. W. Edwards Deming's teachings including the theory of profound knowledge, cooperation in the workplace, and Deming's famous 14 Points management guidelines. In fact, Bruce calls himself a "Deming 14 Point Purist."
In addition to the teachings of Dr. Deming, Bruce has gained a great deal of insight as a tenured leader of The Landmark Forum, where he leads seminars that have a life-altering impact on those in attendance.
His background creates the foundation for his approach. However, his consulting work grows out of the unique situational needs and the specific challenges facing each of his diverse clients.
